Chrysalis Managing Partner, Nick Northcott was invited as one of the industry opinion leaders to highlight the opportunities and share his insights into the medical and health industries. “It was a pleasure to meet with the ASEAN ambassadors, commissioners and partners at the Forum and to share ideas about how we can work together to meet the growing need for evidence-based care to support a large and growing population. The opportunity to collaborate between Australia and ASEAN is enormous and we look forward to continuing to work with them,” said Nick.
In addition to the Medical and Health sector, the one-day forum also highlighted the opportunities, challenges, and case studies by thirty industry champions on Advanced Manufacturing, Education, Digital Transformation and Food & Agriculture.
ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) is the premier regional grouping in Southeast Asia. It includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. As a trading bloc, it is Australia’s second largest trading partner.
The export into ASEAN nations is set to grow exponentially in the next decade and this event provided a great platform to engage with ASEAN stakeholders for trade, investment and other opportunities across the health, medical research and life sciences sectors.
