Launched in 2010, Linear brings world-first clinical trials to Western Australia and makes innovative therapies available to the WA community.

Chrysalis Advisory was engaged by Dr. Michael Winlo in 2016 upon his appointment as the new CEO of Linear. As a new CEO, Michael engaged Nick Northcott to create a specialised change management program and address challenges in Linear’s growth, culture and strategy. Nick supported Michael and the Linear management team through a facilitated process to develop their strategy, culture, leadership capability and business model.

Significant to the second phase of this engagement was facilitating strategic, cultural and structural change to support Linear’s new strategy. This change program focused on developing senior leaders’ skills to have necessary conversations to build trust and effective relationships, executive coaching for the leadership team and training workshops for all staff. Chrysalis also provided support in facilitating key external partnerships and collaborations.

Chrysalis Advisory supported Linear to achieve the following outcomes:

  • A revitalised strategic direction, improved culture, staff retention and engagement internally and externally
  • A significant increase in revenue (greater than 100{16688d83ef5b175203422d9c5b66f33edff43c3a22546b7652da2e7170aa87b1} growth) in the past 2 years, with significant opportunities in the pipeline
